Animal Services
The Town of Broadus and Powder River County do NOT have an active Animal Services' Department but coordinates with the Powder River County Sheriff's Office and Local Wildlife Fish & Game Officer to provide the following assistance to all residents. We are all dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community.
- Responding to stray animal complaints
- Investigating dangerous animals
- Impoundments
- Adoptions
- Barking dog complaints
- Trapping nuisance wildlife and loose livestock
- Carcass removal
- Ordinance enforcement
